MUSICAL THEATRE
Welcome to Hamilton Academy of Performing Arts’ MUSICAL THEATRE program! Students will learn the discipline of Theatre Arts, combined with Vocal and Dance training as they study towards a Musical Theatre presentation in the Spring. Musical Theatre Teacher: Caitlin Collingwood
Our MUSICAL THEATRE program runs for 24 weeks for our 2023-2024 season starting Monday, October 30, 2023 until Monday, May 13, 2024.
Classes are held every Monday for the following age groups:
JUNIOR LEVEL (ages 8 to 11) 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
SENIOR LEVEL (ages 12 to 14+) 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Registration Fee: $25.00
Fall Session: (8 weeks) $240.
October 30 to December 18, 2023
Winter Session: (8 weeks) $240.
January 8 to March 4, 2024
Spring Session: (8 weeks) $240.
March 18 to May 13, 2024

The Theatre Program will focus on building creativity, emotional depth, and expression through movement during various activities and exercises pulled from acting conservatory practices. Drama is the practice of expression that is fun and enriching for all students. By studying vocal techniques, movement practices, script work and memorization, students will build confidence and develop interpersonal skills as well as have fun learning lines and becoming characters.
