Welcome to Hamilton Academy of Performing Arts’ THEATRE PROGRAM!
This year we are exploring Musical Theatre with the students.
Students will learn the discipline of Theatre Arts, combined with Vocal and Dance training as they study towards a Musical Theatre presentation.
A final performance will presented in the Spring.
AUDITIONS OPEN Saturday October 21, 2023
For the following age groups:
JUNIOR LEVEL (ages 9 to 12)
SENIOR LEVEL (ages 13 to 16)
Audition location:
108 Park Street West, Dundas, ON, L9H 1X4
Audition time:
2:00 pm to 2:30 pm – Registration
2:30 pm to 4:00 pm – Audition
Audition Fee: $30.00
The Theatre Program will focus on building creativity, emotional depth, and expression through movement during various activities and exercises pulled from acting conservatory practices. Drama is the practice of expression that is fun and enriching for all students. By studying vocal techniques, movement practices, script work and memorization, students will build confidence and develop interpersonal skills as well as have fun learning lines and becoming characters.
