Summer Camp

Ballet Intensive Summer Camp

Hamilton Academy of Performing offers a summer program in collaboration with the Hamilton City Ballet for local and international students from ages 6 to 20. Please see Hamilton City Ballet website for Adult ballet summer classes. Throughout the years, we have welcomed students from the Hamilton and surrounding areas, including Ancaster, Burlington, Waterdown, Oakville, Mississauga, Toronto, Markham, and across Canada – as far as British Columbia. The camp has also welcomed international students from across the world – Italy, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Romania, and USA.

We believe that students of all ages should have the opportunity to experience an enriching program in which they can develop their artistic qualities, learn new skills and meet new people. Our programs are designed to improve students’ technical and artistic abilities. Classes are taught by highly qualified and experienced staff in a safe and friendly environment. At the end of each session, the students prepare a presentation in the school’s Tchaikovsky Concert Hall for family and friends (pending Covid-19). Each dancer receives a “Certificate of Participation”.
