Summer Camp

Ballet Intensive Summer Camp

Hamilton Academy of Performing Arts, in collaboration with Hamilton City Ballet, offers an exceptional summer program designed for local and international students aged 5 to 15+. For Adult Ballet Summer Classes, please visit the Hamilton City Ballet website.

Over the years, we have proudly welcomed students from Hamilton and surrounding areas, including Ancaster, Burlington, Waterdown, Oakville, Mississauga, Toronto, and Markham, as well as dancers from across Canada—reaching as far as British Columbia. Our program has also attracted talented students from around the world, including Italy, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Romania, Mexico, and the USA, creating a vibrant and diverse artistic community.

We believe that every student—regardless of age or experience—should have the opportunity to thrive in a dynamic and enriching dance program. Our carefully designed classes foster artistic expression, build technical excellence, and encourage personal growth. Guided by our highly qualified and passionate instructors, students develop their skills in a supportive, inspiring, and welcoming environment where they can gain confidence, forge new friendships, and experience the joy of dance. At the end of each summer camp session, students take the stage in the school’s Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, presenting a special performance for family and friends that highlights their progress, creativity, and hard work. As a celebration of their achievements, each dancer is proudly awarded a Certificate of Participation, recognizing their dedication and artistic growth.
