- Pre-Professional Classes:
Offered to students 14-18 years of age. This program is catered to high school students.
This program allows individuals to have exclusive intensive ballet training. These classes are catered to individuals who are looking to increase their technical skills, musicality, performance and artistic abilities.
- Professional Development :
Offered to students ages 18-23. The Professional Development Program has been created for students over the age of 18 who would like to pursue professional careers in Ballet but are in need of enhancing their professional skills in preparation for auditions. The program consists of refinement of technique, development of artistic presentation, preparation for auditions, and performance opportunities.
- Competition Coaching
Private coaching is available in preparation for local or international competitions, such as The Youth America Grand Prix International Ballet Competition or The Vancliffen International Ballet Competition.
- Ballet Examinations
Students registered in HAPA Dance programs will be taking part in Ballet & Pointe examinations during the year.
- Performance Opportunities
HAPA offers many performance opportunities throughout the year, such as: The Nutcracker ballet (yearly in December), Music & Dance Concert Series (two or three performances during the year), Ballet recital (in the Spring, in collaboration with Hamilton City Ballet), as well as guest performances at community fundraisers, galas, and concerts.
